the makuta are supposed to be a race, yet the plot is too focused on only makuta terridax himself. hes one of many, not a single being. he was in almost every arc and although in another body, i think its known thats just the original makuta that the toa mata already fought countless times. the remaining villains also play a role too but some are loyal to him or are doing their own thing. thats exactly what the piraka and the makuta of karda nui are doing and while some arcs are longer than others, makuta returned and took everything for himself, even stealing mata nui's body despite all the hard work and sacrifices that both matoran and toa did only for him to cheat like that in a bullshit ending.

i love the series and i love the game but nothings perfect, lets get started

the map layout is designed like a maze, sometimes being too convenient for Samus to move forward, for example in the aqua sector with electrified water with hanging platforms to help you cross. worse is you will get lost and be sent in circles because nintenDOH also has terrible habit of being twats with horrible level design in their games, forced to take the longer and more tedious route just to be assholes and have no respect for the players time.

sector six is has Frozen X that harms you until you get your rather unimpressive varia fusion suit

sector five is half non frozen which makes no sense and the opening area is pretty large in size. your mission here is suicide and stupid with the ai of the X, the X are assholes. they will either hunt you down, let them absorb into you or they fly the fuck away and or form another enemy.... ugh what the hell

and Sector 4 deeper layer is underwater hell, fuck this place. its right after the nightmare too which makes this area even more dreadful with another nightmare on top of the previous boss. sector is the worst area due to the fact of the many small pools and platforming. sector 1 and 2 were far better designed but rest all have a weaker and chaotic design, getting to the damn boiler room is also no walk in the park, you cant just take one quick path straight too it, no, too logical, no instead you navigate yourself there by sneaking in all around, like long before the boiler room, everything you must do upstairs is tedious and dumb.

sector 2 has weird filler pointless blue rooms for no reason and fails to fit the theme

and nintendo even took out a room or two in earlier versions of the game.

the first mission in sector 1 is pretty pointless, the X dont try this again till the emergency in sector three and just what are they planning with that suicidal stunt?

most sectors will feel empty once you explored it once with nothing new to find and see

no wonder i couldnt find every little item. and for a government space station lab, you would think there would be more exciting things to see, but nope

later in the game you will take massive damage as if you were hit a by a fucking tank

this is highly infuriating and bullshit

hidden shortcuts and items you wouldnt know exist

too many extra power bombs but not enough Energy Tanks. i never could find them

often you have no freedom to explore

the X will destroy doors and download rooms to really screw you over. this is a dick move and also infuriating, a terrible way to force the player to explore another sector earlier than later and to find another upgrade station

the wide beam is pretty weak

the uncharged plasma beam has no effect on some enemies. THIS IS BULLSHIT. ITS THE PLASMA BEAM, THE FUCKING PLASMA BEAM. IT SHOULDNT BE WEAK UNCHARGED.

enemies can also block your path

you can cheese some bosses but only if you camp in the right corner. anywhere else guarantees of you getting hit and taking damage. this happens in the serris fight and the stupid spider which is worse because it can spit flame, so you must must the flame and slightly move as it fades. and this boss takes some time. also hes the first boss back to back, after him is the fake chozo statue and that boss is bullshit because of the stupid a venus flytraps that drains you fast and is a pain to get out

some bosses are bullshit because you cant do shit to them but find a safe spot, camp there and wait for your chance to attack because they have a tiny hit box, meaning your missiles and beams have no effect anywhere else on them and thats fucking bullshit and unrealistic, LET ME FUCKING ATTACK AND DAMAGE YOU BACK, THATS NOT FAIR, THATS CHEATING MAKING YOU'RE 98% INVINCIBLE AND YOU CANT EVEN GET CLOSE WITHOUT TAKING HUGE DAMAGE AND THATS ALSO BULLSHIT

SA-X is a cheating cunt, always spamming its beam and doing insane damage

you cant even get away from it as it will spin jump into you... FUCK OFF YOU CUNT

its second form is ass too considering, you guessed it, camp in a safe spot because most of the bosses fucking suck

missiles dont do shit to it, in fact missiles are pretty useless in this game

then the final final boss, the omega metroid also swings rapidly, almost giving you no time to return fire and of course a tiny hit box when attacking it

fuck gold enemies they only exist to be gatekeeping twats and if you leave said room you have to kill them again. fuck off

i love metroid fusion, however its design is quite bizarre

every sector is build like a complicated maze of nonsense with lots of platforming, this is supposed to be a laboratory for human to perform experiments which i fail to see how things are placed everywhere. such as computers located in a lonely corner or on a ledge, in the water sector there are blocks hanging from the ceiling to provide safety for Samus, security and enemy gate like obstacles in the worst places ever and placing two in the same area, getting to the water boss, Serris makes no sense with the path you have to take and again, its built like a god damn maze, you can safely chill in the far right corner yet he can touch you on the far left, the box fight also makes no sense, you pick up your super missiles, leave the whole area, pre boss music, tension before an encounter plays but you're not that near the boss room, walk to the left some more, than the screen will shake with loud digging noises can be heard, return to where you picked up the super missiles and box just randomly shows up and vanishes without a trace the same way he and all the other X instantly arrived in sector 3. the X / bosses can ruin a path or door, another dick move and they even destroy the data room you just use? why? are they that aware of what the data rooms purpose and prevent you from getting stronger? pretty stupid and because of that nonsense, you have to find another data room in another sector because the only sector that has two data rooms is sector 5 and maybe 6, if a remember right and if not, why not install more data rooms? at this point of the game, you're still weak to ice and guess what? the stupid X change its temperature to harm samus. wtf. your first mission in sector 1 is too clear the ventilation, however you might realize that was a very a pointless mission because the X only wanted it a little hotter, but because they dont try that again, the X just chills, but what were the X trying to do? was it the first attempt to over heat the sector for massive damage prior to the second attempt via the emergency in sector 3 later in the game? so the X stop you by blocking your path and even destroying data rooms but they dont try start chaos in the same sector you just took care of? because they do it once and never again but will always screw you over in many other ways. gold enemies, fuck gold enemies. they arnt hard by far but they are annoying due to the fact that these little shits magically block the door, worse is when there's a group of them and you have to waste a power bomb, two or even three.
